City after city, Fashion Month continues its annual parade from New York to London to Milan. Now, as the season wraps up, it's time for Paris. The city of love (or light, depending on who you ask) hosts a plethora of fashion brands for Paris Fashion Week, from indie labels like Ganni and Cecilie Bahnsen to luxury brands like Hermès and Chanel. And that variety means the cast of characters descending on Paris to witness it all is equally rich with their style.

This season, however, a major player is shaping up the street style: the power suit. And that's no coincidence. Ever since Saint Laurent's spring/summer 2025 show, celebrities like Bella Hadid and Jennifer Lopez plus industry folk have embraced the '80s-style power suit as their 2025 uniform, complete with long ties and broad shoulders. So it makes sense that Paris is filling up with its fair share of people cosplaying as the wolves of Wall Street.

But today's power suit is more than just a work uniform. Ahead, some of the best ways Paris Fashion Week attendees are styling the 2025 power suit.

Quilted Layers

The structure of suiting is best juxtaposed with more relaxed, soft silhouettes. And that can easily be found in a quilted jacket. Add to that the striking red shade over the neutral tones and it's a winning combo.

Patterned suiting is one to break out of the business box, and the springtime-ready gingham is ideal. For a fun pop, a pair of color tights is just the accessory to go for.

For those who love the power look of a suit without all the fuss, wearing a two-piece set that mimics the blazer-and-pant combo might do the trick. Bonus points for the Y2K-ready cargo pants.
