Question: Which Nevada city is the “true birthplace” of blue jeans?

Answer: Most people credit Levi Strauss with the invention of blue jeans, but in fact, he holds the patent along with the man many consider the true inventor of denim jeans: a Nevadan named Jacob W. Davis.
Several of the iconic features of blue jeans, including the copper rivets and the use of double orange thread, were invented by Davis in Reno.
